It was a memorable Christmas for PBA icons Marc Pingris and PJ Simon. Their legacy <br />in the Purefoods franchise is now secure. The Pinoy Sakuragi and the Scoring <br />Apostle had their jersey numbers retired during the halftime of the Christmas <br />Clasico over the weekend.<br /><br />Simon spent his entire career with Purefoods from 2004 to 2020. Pingris meanwhile, had two stints with the franchise from 2005 to 2008 and again from 2009 to 2019. PJ and Ping won multiple championships and individual awards while playing for the Purefoods franchise.
